Big Viking Games celebrated our 3rd birthday this past weekend and we couldn’t be happier!
On October 2011, our company was founded when CEO Albert Lai and CPO Greg Thompson decided they wanted to start something amazing. At that time, we had 4 employees, 1 game, and worked out of a small office, crammed together on a single desk. Today, we have over 60 employees, 5 total games with more in development, and thankfully enough desks to go around – all in only three years!
Some highlights of these past three years – acquiring YoWorld, supporting a great cause like Extra-Life, epic bowling nights, and being named Globe and Mail’s Top Employers for Young People & Top 100 Small and Medium Employers in Canada. We’ve been able to accomplish a lot these three years and it honestly couldn’t have happened without the support of all our fans. We’re thankful for the support, and definitely feel a sense of pride when we think about all we’ve managed to accomplish together!
